Dance Connection is proud to announce the official transfer of ownership to Miss Jessica Donnelly and the retirement of Miss Tonya Barnes.
As the new sole owner of TDC, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Tonya for trusting me with this incredible opportunity and allowing me to fulfill a lifelong dream. I am beyond excited for what’s ahead and committed to continuing the studio’s tradition of providing a joyful, loving, and positive environment for all our dancers.
TDC has held a special place in my heart since I first stepped into the studio at just two years old. I’ve been teaching here since 2013 and co-owning the studio for the past two years. Now, I’m honored to lead TDC into its next chapter as sole owner.
We proudly offer instruction in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, pom pon, contemporary, and acrobatics—and we remain committed to providing quality dance education to the children of our community.

About Miss Tonya
Miss Tonya has been a cornerstone of TDC for 34 years, having opened the studio as a teenager. What began as a hobby quickly blossomed into a beloved business that has thrived in the Pacific community—fostering lifelong friendships and shaping generations of dancers. Over the years, Tonya has found great joy in teaching and watching young dancers grow into confident, successful adults. While she will deeply miss her time at the studio, she looks forward to this next chapter, spending more time with her children and grandchildren. Tonya will remain a presence at TDC throughout the current dance year, including our annual recital.
